Vol. 271 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - FEOGA Grant Scheme.

49.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he is satisfied that under the FEOGA scheme of grants Irish applicants are not being discriminated against in relation to percentage of grants vis-á-vis other member countries.

The EEC Commission have not yet decided how the funds for the 1973 scheme will be apportioned between member countries. I will, of course, do everything to ensure that there will be no discrimination against Irish applicants in the level of grants approved for projects.
