Vol. 272 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Planning Permissions.

38.

andMr. Timmons asked the Minister for Local Government if there is available to him in his Department or from any other source any evidence that either Deputy Haughey or Deputy Timmons has been in any way involved in the improper or unwarranted granting of planning permissions in Dublin City or County in the last decade or at any other time.

I have not carried out any inquiries into this matter. I believe the cost of doing so would not be warranted.

In view of the national publicity which this issue got, I wonder could the Minister differentiate between Mr. X and Mr. Y?

That is hardly relevant.

What Deputy Cruise-O'Brien said was hardly relevant either.
