Vol. 273 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - TV Licence Fee.

6.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider accepting payment of the television licence in two six-month moieties.

The Deputy's suggestion would involve a substantial increase in the cost of collecting television licence fees, which at present amounts to over £500,000 a year, and is not, therefore, favoured.
