* Employed temporarily in the Geological Survey Office during holiday periods.

How many people are involved?

About 40—something like that.

Can the Minister give us any indication of what 40 people who are not civil servants are doing in his Department?

Apart from the obvious.

They are working in it. The Deputy now has knowledge simpliciter of what they are doing.

Ridiculous.

Jobs for the boys.

It would be deeply offensive to the people on the list to be so referred to.

The Minister is a fine one to talk about being offensive.
