Vol. 299 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Shannon Estuary Pilots.

26.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he is aware of the dissatisfaction amongst the pilots of the Shannon Estuary at his failure, to date, to approve the pension scheme application made on their behalf by the Limerick Harbour Commissioners in March, 1976; if he will make a statement on the present position regarding this application.

(Cavan): I am in consultation with the Minister for the Public Service in regard to the proposals for a revised pension scheme submitted to me by the Limerick Pilotage Authority in 1976. I hope to be able to give a decision in the matter at an early date.
