Vol. 301 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - School Building Programme.

28.

asked the Minister for Education what initiatives he has taken in the school building programme to cope with existing suburban pressures and to replace obsolete schools.

In accordance with the Fianna Fáil election manifesto I am having a special survey made in these two matters and will be according them special priority.

Could I ask whether the Minister has taken Questions Nos. 27 and 28 together?

Can the Minister hold out any hope of adequate finance in these areas?

By whom is the survey being carried out and when is it likely to be completed?

I am calling the next question.

With the permission of the Chair, I will expand all right. Have I permission, a Cheann Comhairle?

Question No. 29.

There was only one supplementary asked on that question and you are not prepared to allow it.

On a point of order, we are making relatively good progress and these are important questions.

The Deputy is well aware that they are all related questions. We have had tremendous repetition. I have been most patient. I have called Question No. 29.

With all due respects, Question No. 28 is not a related question.
