The Garda station at Kildorrery is scheduled for replacement and the erection of a new station will proceed as quickly as possible when a suitable site has been acquired.

Planning is at an advanced stage for the erection of a new Garda district headquarters at Mallow and it is hoped to be in a position to go to tender early in the new year.

The fee simple of the existing Doneraile Garda station is in process of being purchased with a view to rebuilding to modern standards.
