: The present approximate quantities of Irish beef in intervention are as follows: 34,400 tonnes of bone-in beef, 34,100 tonnes of boneless beef and 2,400 tonnes of canned beef. The value of the stocks is estimated at over £103 million. Disposal of the beef takes place on a regular basis in accordance with EEC regulations.
: Could the Minister give the approximate weekly intake of beef to intervention?
