asked the Minister for Defence the number of officers and men who will replace the contingent now serving in the Lebanon.

It is proposed that the contingent to replace the Irish contingent at present serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon will consist of 60 officers, two chaplains and 687 men—a total of 749.
