Vol. 310 No. 9

Written Answers. - Free Travel Scheme.

78.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if widows will be included in the free travel scheme.

Widows who have reached 66 years of age, or who are in receipt of an invalidity pension or blind pension from my Department or a disabled person's maintenance allowance from a health board are at present eligible for free travel in their own right.

Suggestions for changes in the scheme are matters which are considered in the context of the annual budget.
