I move:
That notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders and in the Resolution of 12 October, 1977 (as amended by the Resolution of 14 December, 1977) relating to business and sittings the following arrangements shall apply on Wednesday, 28 March, 1979 in the debate on Financial Motion No. 8 of the Financial Motions made by the Minister for Finance:—
(a) the final speaker from the Labour Party and the final speaker from Fine Gael shall be called on not later than 3.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. respectively and a member of the Government shall be called on not later than 5.30 p.m. to conclude the debate; and
(b) if a division be demanded on any Question put from the Chair in connection with the proceedings such division shall be taken forthwith.
