The case in question, which involves a transfer of part of a folio, was lodged in the Land Registry on 11 January 1980 and a notice of completion issued to the solicitors on Friday, 9 May 1980. This was well within the normal time taken for registration of this type of transaction which involves mapping of the divided folios.
