Vol. 322 No. 1

Written Answers. - Kerry Drainage Survey.

328.

asked the Minister for Finance if his Department have completed the survey, as promised some time ago, of the existing drainage conditions on the outfall of the Arenagh-Banna catchment districts, County Kerry; and, if so, the action he proposes to take to remove the serious loss of production on the farms in the catchment area due to continued flooding.

The survey referred to is now complete but further study of conditions in the catchment is required before any proposals for major improvements can be made. This study is proceeding.
