asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have inquiries made into alleged faults in the telephone service for a person (details supplied) in Dublin as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Service on the subscriber's line was interrupted by a fault in an underground cable. The fault has been repaired and service restored.
