asked the Minister for Finance if his Department received a proposal from the Kerry County Council requesting the Office of Public Works to undertake the repair of fences at Cromane, County Kerry, at an estimated cost of £1,000 to prevent continued flooding of a large acreage of agricultural land; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works have received no such proposal.
