asked the Minister for Health if self-employed persons who are under the income limit for health benefits are eligible under EEC regulations for full health service within the Community; and, if not, why.

Self-employed persons who are not or have not been insured under the Social Welfare Acts are not eligible under EEC Regulations for health services within the Community. These regulations apply only to insured workers, contributory pensioners and the families of such persons.
