Vol. 331 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cavan-Monaghan Illegal Radio.

8.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of an illegal radio being used for subversive activities in the Cavan-Monaghan area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am not so aware.

In view of the fact that the present Taoiseach gave an undertaking to the people of Bantry——

We are on question No. 9 Deputy. Please resume your seat.

I cannot resume until such time——

Deputy, I know you to be a very courteous Member, that you would not want to be disorderly and that you will not be so on this occasion because you have decried disorderliness in this House. I hope that you will be the first to maintain order in this House.

May I ask one question as I have asked only one supplementary question?

You have other means of raising the matter if you wish. I will be glad to help the Deputy when he wishes to raise it by other means.

Could I ask one——

No, I am sorry, we have gone beyond it.

(Interruptions.)

We are on Question No. 10, Deputy, and thank you very much for being so orderly.

Will you assure me that we will have Bantry on the Adjournment?

I will communicate with the Deputy.

I answered Bantry honestly and openly before the election. The Minister——

(Interruptions.)

Order. Could we have order for the Minister to reply to Question No. 10?

My replies are provoking a lot of sensitive reaction.
