The sports complex adjacent to Portmarnock Community School is being grant-aided by my Department and it is intended that this complex should serve the school as well as the community.
The need for some complementary facilities on the school site is accepted. For this purpose changing rooms and showers are being provided for the school so that limited physical education activities may take place also in the school's general purpose area, as well as in the outdoor physical education areas.
