At the request of Dungarvan Urban District Council an inspector from my Department visited Cathal Brugha Place during April 1981 and inspected the remedial works being carried out to the houses there. The relevant extract from his report was sent to the county manager in June 1981. As the inspection was sought by the council who have responsibility for the maintenance and management of their housing estate it is entirely a matter for them whether or not the findings should be made available.
