Vol. 334 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Tipperary School.

524.

asked the Minister for Education the present position in relation to the proposed new national school for Ardcroney, Nenagh, County Tipperary; when work on the building of this school will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department have sanctioned a grant towards the estimated cost of extending and adapting Ardcroney national school to bring accommodation to four classrooms and a general purposes room. It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that the Reverend Chairman has recently submitted planning permission for this project. Accordingly, the commissioners are now in a position to undertake the preparation of working drawings.
