The planning of the relevant water supply proposals has not yet been completed by Arklow Urban District Council. I am not at present in a position to say when approval may issue to the Arklow North Sewerage Scheme, contract documents for which are under consideration in my Department. These proposals must be considered in the context of the amount of capital available for sanitary services schemes and the number of schemes under construction or about to get to construction stage, for which adequate finance must be provided.
