On inspection it was found that none of the applicant's proposals qualify for a grant under the terms of the scheme. The applicant was fully informed of the reasons why a grant could not be allowed on 15 March 1982.

A reconstruction grant of £200 was paid to the person named on 28 October 1977. There is no trace of any later application. The information given in the letter referred to by the Deputy inadvertently related to an application from a different person of the same name.

The Department's inspector has reported that this house is not used as a permanent residence. Therefore, a grant is not payable.
