Mr. Keegan

asked the Minister for the Environment the number of planning applications processed by each planning authority in the State for each year 1971 to 1981, inclusive.

The information requested is set out hereunder. The statement shows the number of planning applications decided, as notified to my Department by each planning authority. Columns 1 to 4 in the statement give figures for the financial years (April to March). Column 5 figures for 9 months (April to December 1974). Columns 6 to 11 give figures for the calendar years. Statistics are not yet available for 1981.
