Vol. 340 No. 4

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin School Repairs.

12.

asked the Minister for Education when approval will be given for repairs to the roof of St. Paul's primary school, Greenhills, County Dublin, as these repairs are urgently needed to protect the internal fabric of the building.

13.

asked the Minister for Education if she has received representations from the board of management, St. Paul's senior primary school, Greenhills, Dublin 12, concerning repairs to the school; and if she intends to approve a grant for this work.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 12 and 13 together.

The Commissioners of Public Works who are my Department's technical advisers on primary school building matters have recently furnished a report and recommendation concerning various works, including work to the roof at St. Paul's senior national school, Greenhills, County Dublin. My Department will be in communication with the chairman at an early date concerning this report.

May I take it, then, that the Minister is still considering the possibility of a grant?

Yes, I am still considering the possibility.
