asked the Minister for Agriculture the revised weekly wages of industrial civil servants following the implementation of the final phase of the public service pay agreement, 1982; and the operative date for the categories of workers listed in a reply to a parliamentary question on 18 November 1980.

Following is the information in respect of staff for whom I am directly responsible:—

Payment of the final phase, which is operative in all cases from 1 January 1983, was postponed from 1 August 1982, in respect of the gardener, carpenter and lorry driver grades and from 1 October 1982 in respect of the other grades listed.
