asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10 as he paid the installation fee in December 1982.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the automatic exchange at Templederry, Nenagh, County Tipperary, will be in service.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed before the latter part of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone service for a person (details supplied) which has been out of order for the past 22 weeks will be restored.

Loss of service was due to a cable fault which is being repaired. Service will be restored within a week or so.

It has not been possible to trace an application on behalf of the person named. If the Deputy can furnish additional information, e.g. when and where the application was made, further efforts will be made to trace it.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed before the latter part of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a telephone service will now be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin having regard to the fact that the deposit was paid on 12 October 1982.

When the person named was invited to sign an agreement and make advance payment it was expected that service would be provided for him within about three months. Regrettably, this was not possible because of an unforeseen difficulty in connection with the cable pair. It is expected that service will be provided within about a month.

Service will be restored within a week or so.

Service was offered to applicants in the Black Valley area last year. The offers were not accepted.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide a telephone kiosk at the old folks homes in Bosheen Estate, New Ross, County Wexford.

It is planned to provide a public telephone kiosk at the entrance to Mount Carmel Estate which is less than 300 metres from the old people's homes in the Bosheen area; this is the nearest suitable position to the old people's homes that would meet the general needs of the area to be served.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have a telephone repaired immediately and a rebate of rental granted for the period it is out of order for a firm (details supplied) in County Dublin.

Service will be restored within a week or so. A rebate will be given.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed before the latter part of the year. It was expected that the engineering work would be completed earlier but this will not be possible because of the need to divert staff to other urgent work.
