asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for the residents of Park Vale, Sandyford Road, Dublin 14.

Telephone service has been provided for many of the residents of Park Vale.

Outstanding applications will be met within the next year or so.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone number will be changed for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 as agreed by his Department two months ago in view of the fact that she is receiving obscene telephone calls; and if he will have the change made immediately as she is very anxious.

The number has been changed recently.

Terms are being quoted to the person named and it is expected that service will be provided within about two to three months after the necessary agreement has been signed.

It is expected that an application for an additional line will be met within the next two to three months or so.

Both the meter and line have been checked and are working satisfactorily.

It is expected that it will be possible to provide service within about a year for the person named who has not yet been approved by the Department of Social Welfare for free telephone rental.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work will be completed before the end of the year.

It had been planned to provide a public telephone kiosk at Meenacloddy, County Donegal. However, the programme for the provision of rural kiosks is under review at present in the light of the financial position generally and it is not possible at this stage to say when a kiosk will be provided at the location in question.

A survey is being carried out to ascertain when service can be provided for the person named. The applicant will be advised of the result of the survey as soon as it is completed.

It has not been possible to trace an application by the party quoted. If the Deputy can furnish additional information, for example, where and when the application was made, further inquiry will be made.

It had been planned to provide a kiosk at Aghadooey, Ballintra. However, the programme for the provision of rural kiosks is under review at present in the light of the financial position generally and it is not possible at this stage to say when a kiosk will be provided at the location in question.
