asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be installed for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin as she has been on the waiting list for some time.

Service will be provided as soon as possible for the person named but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed before the end of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when extra telephones will be provided for a firm (details supplied) in Dublin 3 as they have been on the waiting list for a considerable time.

It has not been possible in the time available to trace an application bearing the name quoted. If the Deputy can furnish additional information, for example, when and where the application was made further inquiry will be made.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason a telephone service has not been installed for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry, as he paid for service on 13 March 1983 and requires service immediately.

It had been expected that service would be provided within about three months from the date of the advance payment. Regrettably, this was not possible. It is expected that service will be provided within about two months.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will make arrangements to have the telephone kiosk which was recently removed from Knockmore Estate, Tallaght, County Dublin, replaced immediately.

It is planned to replace the kiosk at Knockmore Estate. The kiosk was removed as it was in a dangerous condition because of excessive vandalism and the question of an alternative site for the kiosk is at present being considered.

The kiosk in the Killinarden estate was restored to service on 20 June 1983.

The question of resiting the second kiosk on the perimeter of the estate is being examined with a view to reducing the incidence of vandalism to which it has been subjected.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when his Department propose to resite a telephone kiosk in a location (details supplied) in County Dublin which has already been agreed.

The kiosk at Stradbrook Gardens will be resited as soon as the necessary kiosk structure becomes available.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a faulty telephone service will be rectified for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

Service has been restored and a special check is being kept on the subscriber's line.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone kiosk and service will be provided for Galbally, County Wexford, as the local authority have approved a site.

It had been planned to provide a kiosk at Galbally. However, the programme for the provision of rural kiosks is under review at present in the light of the financial position generally and it is not possible at this stage to say when a kiosk will be provided at the location in question.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of an application for a transfer of telephone service for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 and that this application was made over eighteen months ago; and if a telephone service will be provided in the very near future.

A transfer of telephone service will be provided for the person named as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed before the end of this year.
