asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and complies with all other conditions of the grant scheme. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible. The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy cannot issue until the grant has been paid and the appropriate claim form received.

264.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a £1,000 new house grant and a mortgage subsidy paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the work has been approved for quite some time and all outstanding documentation has been submitted to his Department.

When the person named submits part B of form SL.4 (Certificate from Inspector of Taxes), which was requested on 13 April 1983 and 10 August 1983, duly completed and certified in respect of his wife, arrangements will be made to have the grant paid. As the applicant indicated on his application form that he is not obtaining a mortgage, he is not eligible for a mortgage subsidy.
