The latest available information for semi-State bodies relates to the position at 31 December 1983. The figures for Government foreign debt are those at 31 March 1984.
At end-February 1984 Ireland's official external reserves amounted to £2,094.9 million, including gold valued at £90.6 million and foreign currencies valued at £1,707.1 million.
