Vol. 354 No. 12

Written Answers. - Tralee Hospital.

201.

asked the Minister for Health when a decision will be made by his Department with regard to the provision of a dialysis unit in the Tralee General Hospital.

My Department are at present having discussions with the nephrologists attached to the four main dialysis centres in the country with regard to the future organisation of the nephrology service. Therefore, it is in the context of the outcome of these discussions that I will consider the provision of a renal dialysis unit at Tralee General Hospital.
