Vol. 358 No. 12

Written Answers. - Dublin School Staffing.

735.

asked the Minister for Education if she will consider allocating an extra teacher to St. Francis Xavier junior school, Castleknock, Dublin as there are in the region of 50 children who have reached four years of age since January 1985, and who have been refused admission and as the school has space for another class.

Because the classroom accommodation at the school is fully occupied the board of management have found it necessary to restrict enrolments for the present.

No application has been received from the schools authorities for an extra teaching post which would not be warranted on the basis of existing enrolments.
