Vol. 361 No. 8

Written Answers. - Chiropody Services.

133.

asked the Minister for Health if there is a recognised school of chiropody in this country; and, if not, if he will arrange that such a school will be provided.

There is no recognised school of chiropody in this country at present but I would point out that the Department of Health is currently examining policy relating to chiropody. The Deputy will be aware, however, that the qualification granted by the School of Chiropody in Belfast is currently recognised for employment by the health boards for the provision of chiropody services.
