Vol. 361 No. 12

Written Answers. - Reactor Testing.

106.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will investigate and finalise the case of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who had one inconclusive reactor in a June test and had a number of subsequent tests which proved inconclusive; and the reason no official called as promised on Thursday, 14 November 1985 at 12.30 for a further test.

A brucellosis test of this herd on 6 August 1985 revealed one inconclusive animal. The animal was again inconclusive on retest on 1 October 1985. Following a further test on 10 October 1985, as a result of which the animal was found to be free of disease, the identity card was returned to the herdowner. The question of a further test on 14 November 1985 did not therefore arise.
