The reports of the Civil Service Commission and the Local Appointments Commission contain details of the operations and duties of the commissions in the periods to which they relate. The reports are presented to the House in the normal way. The staff of the commissions number 145 at present. I am satisfied that the commissioners carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
