An inspection cannot be arranged in this case until, in accordance with the conditions of the scheme, the fully completed application form is returned to my Department.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.
There is no record of the receipt in my Department of an application for a new house grant from the person named. There is however, an application from a person with a slightly different surname and in that case the occupier was not at home when an inspector called recently. A further inspection, by appointment, will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will have this house improvement grant application reconsidered in view of the fact that he is doing different works than those under which he got a grant previously and that in such cases it is surely not intended for a specific waiting period to apply.
Under the new scheme a grant for works to the fabric of a house, including works related to the replacement of windows and/or doors as proposed in this case, cannot be allowed unless a period of seven years has elapsed from the date of payment of a previous grant, in respect of repairs to the house. As such a grant was paid in this case in 1983 the decision already conveyed must stand.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a new house grant application from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.
The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.
