asked the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry if he will rescind the Government decision to invite public tenders for the purchase of 40 acres at Lough Atalia, Galway, owned by his Department and enter into negotiations with Galway Harbour Commissioners for the acquistion of the lands.

At a recent meeting which I had with the harbour commissioners it was agreed that the commissioners would make a written submission on the disposal of the land at Lough Atalia. Upon receipt of that submission I will have the matter fully considered.
