Presumably what the Deputy has in mind is the extension of the western package to the additional areas recently included in the disadvantaged areas of the west. The position is that this matter will have to await the formal modification of the programme under which the package operates. Proposals for a review of the programme have been forwarded by the Minister for Agriculture to the EC Commission whose reaction is now awaited.
