asked the Minister for Health if, arising out of his answer to Parliamentary Question No. 23 of 9 June 1987, he will indicate the basis for the concern mentioned by him in that reply; the nature of his looking into the matter; when he expects that examination to be completed; if he will give Deputy Michael Keating a copy of the findings, in so far as they may be publicly available at that time; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have for some years past been concerned about the level of dental services for eligible persons. I am having the situation examined in the context of a general review of the extent to which community care services are being maintained by the health boards in the current year. Pending the outcome of this examination I do not propose to make any further statement on the matter at this time.
