Vol. 375 No. 7

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

101.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a full house improvement grant was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The only grant allowable was for the installation of sewerage facilities. The payment of an improvement grant did not arise in the case of the other works since an essential repairs grant was paid by the local authority. The applicant has been so informed on a number of occasions.

102.

asked the Minister for the Environment the amounts of grants to be paid to Belpatrick-Sharmore group water scheme, County Louth.

My Department is currently examining a composite design for the schemes involved in consultation with Louth County Council. The allocation of grants will be given further consideration when this examination is concluded.
