Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Items Nos. 4, 16, 17 and 18. It is also proposed that Item No. 4 be taken without debate. Private Members' Business shall be Item No. 33.

Is it agreed to take Item No. 4 without debate? Agreed.

It is agreed but it is in that connection I want to ask the Taoiseach if he will undertake to have the revised or modified Bill brought back into the House as quickly as possible because the two organisations affected by this Bill are now experiencing very severe funding difficulties.

Yes, that is understood and that will be done.

Can the Taoiseach give the House any indication as to when the new Bill will be debated in the House?

It is a matter for the Whips but I am very conscious of the urgency of getting it into place as soon as possible.

Might we say within the next couple of weeks?

Yes, certainly.

Following on that may I ask the Taoiseach if the Minister has decided, after two and a half months, on a name for this new body? Seemingly it appeared from television last evening that he has no name for the new body. Perhaps he is afraid to be associated with it because he has made such a——

I should like to raise on the Adjournment the subject matter of Question No. 14 on yesterday's Order Paper.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I should like to raise on the Adjournment the question of the funding of the free legal advice centres and the fact that they are at present in a desperate financial position and in need of Government assistance.
