Vol. 379 No. 1

Written Answers. - Children's Hospital Closure.

49.

asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on reports that at least one of the country's three children's hospitals may be closed down and services relocated as a result of a review which is at present being conducted by his Department and Comhairle na nOspidéal.

There is a joint Department of Health-Comhairle na nOspidéal group examining the organisation of neo-natal intensive care units in the Dublin area. The remit of the group does not extend to considering the future role of any of the children's hospitals.
