Vol. 379 No. 6

Written Answers. - School Transport Scheme.

262.

asked the Minister for Education if she will consider the children of persons (details supplied) in County Cork for school transport to Ballykerwick primary school, County Cork, in view of the fact that this service existed for them until now; and if she will consider issuing immediate approval for same.

There has been no change in the level of service available to the children in question and the present arrangement is considered to be adequate in the context of the general operation of the primary school transport scheme. In the circumstances, the additional cost involved in extending the service would not be warranted and I do not propose to make any alteration in the existing route.
