asked the Minister for Justice the areas in which and the persons to whom, eight permits were granted by chief superintendents of the Garda Síochána for the sale of Easter lilies under the Street and House-to-House Collections Act, 1962.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that eight collection permits in connection with the sale of Easter lilies were granted this year by chief superintendents of the Garda Síochána to persons representing the National Commemoration Committee, 30, Gardiner Place, Dublin in respect of the following areas: County Cavan (excluding Cavan town); Cork city; County Kilkenny (excluding Castlecomer); New Ross Garda Sub-District; Drogheda; County Meath; Mayo Garda Division and Dublin Metropolitan Area East Garda Division.
