asked the Minister for Health when he will produce his first six-monthly report on measures taken in his Department to eliminate discrimination against women as announced in the EC publication Women of Europe (details supplied) and the form its publication will take.

The first six-monthly progress report on measures to advance the position of the status of women within my area of responsibility which will cover the period to June 1988 is due to be submitted to the Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach in July 1988.
