asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to Whitechurch national school, Ballinameela, County Waterford.

An application for an extension has been submitted to my Department. However, at the present time my Department are grant-aiding essential works to the existing school.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to Piltown national school, County Waterford.

The documentation has been forwarded by my Department to the authorities of Piltown national school, County Waterford, to enable them to invite tenders for the proposed extension to their school.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to Kilmacthomas boy's national school, County Waterford.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding repairs and improvement work to Currabaha national school, Dungarvan, County Waterford.

asked the Minister for Education if the proposed extension to Kilmacthomas boy's national school in Currabaha, County Waterford has taken place; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 311, 314 and 345 together.

Arrangements are in hands for the selection of a suitable contractor from the panel of tenderers with a view to placing a contract for the proposed extension to Kilmacthomas boys' national school, County Waterford, also known as Currabaha national school. I shall let the Deputies know when the arrangements have been finalised.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to Ring national school, Dungarvan, County Waterford.

I have approved the invitation of tenders for the proposed extension to Ring national school, Dungarvan, County Waterford. My Department will in the near future send detailed instructions to the school authorities as to the procedures to be followed.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding repairs and improvement work to Ring secondary school, Dungarvan, County Waterford.

The school authorities have not so far submitted an application for grant aid for repaid/improvement work at Scoil San Niocls. Any such application, if submitted, will be considered by my Department.

315.

asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the new boy's national school for Portlaw, County Waterford.

Plans for an extension to the boy's national school for Portlaw, County Waterford, are at present being prepared by my Department's professional staff. Tenders will be invited as soon as possible. I am not in a position at this stage to say when work will commence on the project.
