9 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Taoiseach if the Culture and Education Committee of the Council of Europe will be invited to hold a meeting in Dublin in 1991 to mark Dublin's role as European City of Culture, in view of the precedent being set in Glasgow.

The question of invitations to the committee mentioned, or other representative groups, will be considered in due course in consultation with Dublin Promotions Organisation Limited which is the organising body for the Dublin European City of Culture project.
