Question:1 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Taoiseach if he will give details of the acreage under (a) wheat (b) barley and (c) oats in the years 1986 to 1990 inclusive.
Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers - Crops Acreage.
Estimates of the area under wheat, barley and oats are prepared each year from the June agricultural survey conducted by the CSO. The most recent results available are in respect of 1989. The 1990 survey is at present under way and provisional results should be available in about two months' time.
I propose to circulate a table in the official report containing the details requested for the years 1986 to 1989, inclusive.
