42 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, in view of the representations made to his Department by Macra na Feirme concerning the workings of the young farmers installation aid scheme, he considers it necessary to introduce changes to the scheme.

The question of change to the scheme of installation aid for young farmers in the light of amendments to the EC regulation governing the scheme is under examination in my Department. I hope to be in a position to take decisions on the results of that examination in the very near future.
