John V. Farrelly

Question:

313 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment when finance will be made available for local authority housing for (a) Meath County Council, (b) Kells UDC, (c) Navan UDC, and (d) Trim UDC; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 295, 296 and 313 together.

I expect that housing authorities will be notified shortly of the allocations for their 1991 housing construction programmes. Estimates of the number of houses to be completed by particular housing authorities during the year must await these allocations.
